Mobility

3Q25: Profit in line, backed by Mobility unit
OR posted 3Q25 net profit of Bt2.6bn (+17% QoQ, >100% YoY), in line with INVX but beating consensus. Behind the QoQ growth was stronger diesel and gasoline margins and FX gain that offset lower derivative gains. The results highlight OR’s margin resilience in the Mobility and Lifestyle segments that was able to hold back the geopolitical headwinds in Cambodia. 9M25 profit of Bt9.2bn (+98% YoY) is 79% of our full-year forecast; we maintain projections and our OUTPERFORM rating with a TP of Bt18 (mid-2026), based on 8.4x EV/EBITDA.
Mobility: higher gross profit/liter offsets volume decline. OR’s domestic oil sales fell 7% QoQ to 5,933mn liters, caused by a 9.2% drop in commercial sales amid intense competition and seasonal weakness in diesel demand. Retail sales declined 3.9% QoQ, though gasoline volume was pushed up by promotional campaigns. Gross profit/liter improved 20% QoQ to Bt1.02, supported by stronger diesel and gasoline margins and a recovery in aviation fuel spreads. EBITDA rose 20% QoQ to Bt2.9bn, lifting EBITDA margin to 2.1% from 1.6% in 2Q25. Market share in the retail segment improved slightly from 35.4% (end-2Q25) to 35.8% (end-Aug).
Lifestyle: record Café Amazon sales and resilient margins. Lifestyle profit dipped 4% QoQ on a lower EBITDA margin of 28.2% (vs. 28.7% in 2Q25), still resilient amid higher competition. Excluding losses from “found&found” gives a margin of 29.4%. Café Amazon hit a record 109mn cups (+11.2% YoY, +1.9% QoQ), supported by outlet growth and promotions. Revenue was flat QoQ at Bt6.3bn, as F&B growth (+1.6%) offset low convenience store sales (-4.8%). EBITDA fell 2.1% QoQ to Bt1.8bn.
Global: Cambodia drag offsets gains in Philippines and Laos. Global segment revenue fell 19% QoQ on a 16% drop in sales volume, mainly in Cambodia due to geopolitical tensions. Cambodia volume fell 55% QoQ, while the Philippines and Laos saw modest growth. EBITDA dropped 40% QoQ to Bt263mn, with margin narrowing to 2.5% from 3.4% in 2Q25. Cambodia’s profitability was hit by lower margins and higher costs, while the Philippines benefited from improved diesel margins and higher other income.
4Q25 outlook: hinges on tourism and stable oil prices. We expect a moderate recovery in 4Q25, supported by year-end tourism, seasonal demand, and continued outlet expansion in Lifestyle. Stable oil prices and easing competition will support gross profit/liter in Mobility. 9M25 profit of Bt9.2bn (+98% YoY) is 79% of our full-year forecast; our projection is intact.
TP of Bt18 based on EV/EBITDA of 8.4x. We maintain our OUTPERFORM rating with a TP (mid-2026) of Bt18 based on EV/EBITDA of 8.4x, 30% below 5-year average on conservative assumptions of Bt0.85 gross margin/liter and a 25% lifestyle EBITDA margin, compared with actual 9M25 figures of Bt0.96/liter and 28.9%, respectively. TP implies 2026F PE of 16.1x and PBV of 1.8x, below 2022–24 averages of 24x and 2.2x, offering valuation upside.
Risk factors: An economic slowdown would erode demand for OR’s oil and non-oil products while oil price volatility may cause more stock losses. Other risks are government intervention in capping retail oil price, particularly diesel, and higher competition and operating cost that cannot be passed on.
